Going on Holiday to South Africa

2012
01.16

Trip of a lifetime –South Africa & United Arab Emirates 2011I have wanted to visit South Africa and go on safari for as long as I can remember. I finally took the plunge and booked a ticket to go there next summer. I was able to afford this by taking out a loan from Peer Lending bank. Although I do not usually like to take out loans for my holiday I found that the cost of this trip of a lifetime was far more than I could save up for in a short period of time. I was also quite surprised by the low level of interest that was being offered by the peer to peer social bank; this means that I will not have to worry too much about paying too much extra for my holiday because I took out a high interest loan. I am really looking forward to my trip to South Africa and in addition to going on safari I am also looking forward to hiking up the table Mountain in Cape Town.

Need Some Financial Relief Fast

2011
11.15

I have been struggling with my finances for a while. I lost my job and my debt has since spiraled out of control. I wasn’t able to make the minimum payments on my credit cards and they tripled my interest. Unfortunately, I had to stop paying altogether. I thought I would be able to get a job and get caught up, but that hasn’t happened. Now the credit cards have been charged off and sent to collection agencies. The collection agencies hound me day and night and are making my life miserable. My home is in foreclosure and I really don’t have anything more to lose, so I think it is time to call in some Tampa Bankruptcy Attorneys. This is my last resort. I wish I could pay my debts, but I can’t. I have lost everything, and feel I can’t get started again until my financial slate is wiped clean.

What Do You Mean by Debt Settlement?

2011
11.14

Debt settlement is basically a program designed for those who are unable to pay off their debts and if they remain in that situation for some more time they will be left with no other option other than filing for bankruptcy. Thus in order to reduce the rate of bankruptcy in the country the government of each country issued a service in which they would help the debtors in paying off their debts easily by convincing the creditors to either accept a small amount of payment as an installment each year or to forgive some amount of loan money just so that the debtors is able to make payments along with taking care of the necessary monthly expenses. Remember this service is only granted to those who are n this situation for a genuine reason and not for those who kept of taking loan even though when he had other options.

Hiring an Attorney Really Helped Me out

2011
11.13

I made the decision that it was time for me to file for bankruptcy. So, I wanted to get this done as soon as I could. That is why I went on the internet to find a highly rated attorney in Louisiana who would be able to handle my case. I knew that my attorney would be the one to help me file all of this really important paperwork. I think I made a very good decision because in the end my bankruptcy proceedings went quickly. My attorney helped to settle the debt that I owed to my creditors and now I have a much more reasonable repayment plan ahead of me. This is never a fun process but it is certainly easier when you have the right legal help at your disposal and if I am ever in a financial problem like this again and I will be sure to contact my lawyer.

Trying to Find a Decent Bankruptcy Attorney Online

2011
11.12

I live in Atlanta, GA, and am thinking of declaring bankruptcy. I need to find good advice for how to go about this, so I typed bankruptcy atlanta into the search engine to see what came up. Fortunately there is a lot of good advice available free or rather cheap, and some attorneys to help you out as well who work for very good rates. This is a hard economy and I have nothing to be ashamed about, so I am merely doing what I can as best as I can. My attorney has been very helpful and understanding thus far. He has been working with the court to try and get my debt discharged. I do not think my college debt will be discharged, sadly, but there is nothing I can do about that. All in all this has been a painful experience which he has helped tremendously on and done a lot to lift my burdens. He has made this process easier. Best of luck to me.

Beware of Credit Repair Scams

2011
11.07

You would have to be living on the moon to not have seen the many TV commercials regarding credit repair companies and how they can fix your credit overnight. Many of these are credit repair scams that you should avoid like the plague. Many of these companies make promises to fix your credit for a fee so that you can borrow more debt again. However, the reality is that they do little to nothing to improve your credit rating apart from putting you into further debt because of their high fees.

If you are facing problems with your debts you could try the do it yourself credit repair approach however, this takes time and a certain amount of knowledge. It’s also not the best option to take if you’re in situation where you are finding it hard to cope. Therefore, the better option would be to look for professional help.

If you decide to use a credit repair company you should use your due diligence when choosing one. There are certain warning signs that can alert you to certain companies that you should avoid.

Warning Signs

• They do not inform you of your rights under the Credit Repair Organisations Act.

• Credit repair companies that ask you to pay a fee before providing services.

• The credit repair company asks you to set up a new Employer Identification Number rather than using your social security number. They ask this in order to set up new credit report file.

• Advise you that they can remove negative entries on your credit reports that include bankruptcies, foreclosures or charged off accounts.

If a credit repair offers any of these options as advice then end the conversation quickly and move on with your search.

New Consumer Protection Laws

The federal government has introduced new laws under the Credit Repair Organisations Act that states that companies cannot charge you a fee until they have completed the services they have promised to do.

Many of these scams focus on removing certain details on your credit reports. Removing negative records that have not expired is illegal and impossible any way.

Also, what many of these credit repair companies will not tell is that you can do what they can do at very little cost to yourself. Nowadays, you can obtain your credit reports for free. You also have the right to dispute any details on your report that are wrong or out of date. You can send your own dispute letters to the credit bureaus to have any incorrect details removed from your credit file.

A valid company will follow the rules and regulations laid out in the Credit Repair Organisations Act. If you do agree to use a credit repair company then a reputable one will ask you to sign a contract listing all their costs, the services they will provide and the results that will achieve for you.

The contract should also outline their terms and conditions. You should read through the contract carefully so that you understand it fully. The contract should also have a cooling off period. This allows you to change your mind and cancel it if you decide not to go ahead with the companies services.

National Debt Uk (the United Kingdom Economy)

2011
10.27

The national debt uk is the consolidated amount of money that the government owe to the banks and private sectors. The United Kingdom people are in debt of almost 940.1 billion pounds in the July statistical report. If all sectors will be included in the report, the debt will rose up to a whooping 2266.3 billion pounds. Now that is what you call a big debt inside the United Kingdom. As we know it, the United Kingdom is known to be one of the most powerful countries in the world – so it is surprising that they will have such debt. In the year 2008, the national debt started to increase due to these reasons. There has been a recession (there has been lower tax; people spend more on their unemployment benefits like job seekers allowance). Tax collection has been badly hit by recession – therefore there has been less fund available for the government to use.
