I just got back from South Carolina where I visited my old buddy Dan. When I knew him he was always broke and begging for smokes, but now he finished with his degree and got a great job. He even quit smoking, although he still drinks a lot of beer. In fact he has a Danby kegerator in his living room. We watched a bunch of football with his new buddies and then we went to watch a late model sportsman race on a dirt track that was about three quarters of a mile away. Of course we spent a good deal of our time just goofing off with these girls that he knows. I did not get the best of that, his girl was a lot of fun while mine wanted to know if I was ever going to make anything of myself. I guess she wanted to know if I was going to have money like Dan does now.
